UMadeMyDay.com promotes good deeds and words of gratitude

UMadeMyDay.com is a website designed to encourage visitors to do something nice for someone else. Whether it is a friend, family member, or a complete stranger, it feels good to do something nice for another person. UMadeMyDay.com also offers an area for the grateful receivers of those good deeds to thank the person that did the nice act.

Launched in late October, UMadeMyDay.com has already motivated many to "pay-it-forward" and has also encouraged those that benefited from the good deed to thank their good samaritan. It all starts with the Good Deed cards, that can either be downloaded and printed for free, or purchased as a starter pack. Codes are given on the back of each card to allow good samaritans to track the impact of their kind acts.

UMadeMyDay.com offers many suggestions for performing good deeds, such as purchasing a coffee for the person in line behind you, or buying a gift card and having the cashier anonymously give it to the next person that comes through their register. When a good deed is performed, the card is also left for the receiver. The card encourages the receiver to go to http://umademyday.com and thank the person that gave it to them.

Thanks for the coffee it got me through the next 12 hours of my 24 hour shift at the firehouse" is just one of many thank you messages that have already been left on UMadeMyDay.com.

Additionally, UMadeMyDay LLC has recently added the "Great Deed" to their list of ways to help make a positive difference in the world. The Great Deed is designed to help a group of people at one time. Those that would like to help support the Great Deed are encouraged to contribute to it through the UMadeMyDay website. The Great Deed ties in very nicely with all the smaller, yet just as important good deeds.

My motivation is my children. I want them to grow up in a world that is full of kindness and unselfish acts. There is too much negativity in the world. I want to help make the world a positive place...one good deed at a time," says Josee Archer, creator of UMadeMyDay.com, "There's plenty of good to go around, and it starts with YOU."

So why not make someone's day? Whether it is a cup of coffee for the person in line behind you, or paying the toll for the next car at the toll booth - small things can really go a long way! Make a difference in someone's life today.
